April 2019 News

Cheers to Bluestormers and Readers everywhere! We’re glad of the opportunity to fill you in once again, with the comings and goings in Bluestonia.

We were delighted to be featured in Sandra Castillo’s article in the March issue of Really Great (“RG”) Magazine. Part interview, part review, the article covers topics including Glen and Deborah’s first meeting, Glen’s personal performance highlight, and both Glen and Deborah’s pre-TCB musical origins, among much more. Give it a read here.

We are also happy to share that Deborah has been asked to participate in a house concert on Saturday, April 27 in Los Feliz celebrating Carole King’s “Tapestry” album. The show is a benefit for Hollywood Heart—an arts education organization for at-risk youth, currently celebrating their 25th year! She will be performing one of King’s classic songs, accompanied by Glen. The evening begins at 6 PM, and seating is limited. Admission is donate-what-you-can, with a suggested donation of $10. Reserve your seats here.

…and KONG!!
Glen & Deborah will be returning to renown DJ Buddhaman’s International Experience radio show on KONG Monster Rock for an in-depth interview and in-studio performance. Listen live on Saturday, April 20 here. The show kicks off at 6 PM and we will be on from 7-8.

Finally, as a reminder, we will be performing in San Diego on Saturday, June 1 at 4 PM as part of the Art Around Adams music and art walk. We will be on the Blindspot Records stage located at Smitty’s Service. It is a free, family-friendly event!

Historically, The Bluestorms have not broken any records for releasing records. Nevertheless, since moving our studio we have been at work behind the scenes on several projects, not least of which will be the fourth full length Cherry Bluestorms album. Don’t be surprised to hear some teaser tracks in the near future!!

Until then, thank you for your interest and support!
