MAY 2018 NEWS
Hello and ‘Howdy Do?’ to all of you lovelies!! Yes, we’ve missed you, too! Better late than never, as they say. They also say that good things come to those who wait. We like to think that we can validate those sentiments and we’ll be making our bid in just a moment.
Those of you who have been patiently waiting for word on the whereabouts of The Cherry Bluestorms’ next album will be pleased to learn that significant progress has been made with Steven “Plasticsoul” Wilson’s help in the control room here at Roundhouse Recording! Lots of guitars were recorded and we are on track to release the album this summer. A more definitive date will be announced soon! Meanwhile, bass, drums and keyboards have been completed. Orchestration has been completed on all but one song. We have vocals and some odds and ends to record yet, but we are surely getting there after a couple of years of heavy weather and distractions. A CD release event is in the planning stages already! We are about to announce advance CD/T-shirt and CD/Release Event packages. We’ll keep you posted!!
In other news, The Cherry Bluestorms’ return to Tower District Records in Fresno is being rescheduled due to calendar conflicts. A new date will be announced imminently.
Lastly but not leastly, we had so much fun with our last contest that we had to do it again.
