Since the last time we posted a newsletter, we experienced Glen’s birthday (June 17) of which btw, thank you all for your participation in making it a special birthday for him. It lifted his spirits! Our anniversary was on June 21 and my birthday was August 14. We ride life’s wave, we maneuver through the obstacles that show up and together with life’s wins we make lemonade out of lemons and celebrate each other and our life together (be it as it may).

Now, to talk about Glen’s long awaited solo album called, “Half-Life”. Let us start by saying that we have a lot of gratitude for those amongst our peers who have pitched in to lend a helping hand with finishing details that must happen before we can actually print some CDs and vinyl for all of you who previously prepaid for your album and those who haven’t yet. If we can get enough pre-orders for vinyl, we would like to print some of those up as well. We welcome your feedback on this.

The last song to be completed, “Fallen Angels” has been on hold for some time (since 2021). Glen wasn’t able to finish that last recording before becoming too ill to complete it. He wrote, recorded, played and sang on it. However, it needed orchestration and mixing. A high school friend, Marc Mann who works with Danny Elfman and Jeff Lynne to name a couple of elite musicians (amongst others) stepped in and offered to help Glen. Another long time friend of ours, Mikal Reid who is also busy making music with all kinds of musical artists is a talented producer, guitarist and songwriter who works with well known artists as well as unknown indie artists to help facilitate navigating our pro tools to complete the process. Our friend, and an extraordinaire graphic designer Gina, over at gvcreative.com is completing her final touches on the album artwork. It is exciting that Glen is finally rounding the final bend in this process. We will keep you posted so stay tuned!
