June 2017 News

HOME SWEET HOME
We arrived back in Los Angeles just a few days ago after a phenomenal run through England. We are so grateful for the warm reception and tremendous support that we received! Thank you to everyone who came to the shows, bought merch, signed up on our mailing list, and especially to our friends—old and new—who helped make it happen! It was two and a half weeks to remember, that’s for sure! Now that we are home, we are heading right back into the studio to put the finishing touches on Whirligig. More on that later! In the meantime, the lovely people from Music In The Hall (St. George’s Hall, Bewdley) have asked The Cherry Bluestorms to submit a track for their compilation CD of artists who have played The Hall to benefit young upcoming artists in Bewdley. How could we say no?! We will publish the information on how you can obtain a copy of this CD when it is available.

HEY THERE, LIVERPOOL!
Did you miss your chance to grab a copy of SEE NO EVIL B/W DEAR PRUDENCE at the Cavern Club merch table? You’re in luck! We are thrilled to share that Dig Vinyl and Probe Records are now carrying our 7” single! Drop by and pick up your copy today! Not in Liverpool? Don’t forget that you can still pop into Amoeba Music (Hollywood, CA), Freakbeat Records (Sherman Oaks, CA), Vacation Vinyl (Silverlake, CA), Tower District Records (Fresno, CA), Record City (Las Vegas), Rotate This (Toronto), or Kops Records (Toronto) as well!

LIVERPOOL SOUND AND VISION
Thank you to Ian D. Hall for the glowing review of our second Liverpool show!
With songs such as Daisy Chain, As Above So Below and True Heart Wears A Thorny Crown being played to a huge crowd, the sensation of having seen one of the coolest bands to come out of America in the last decade, finally and forever surely hit home upon those in the audience.

ART AROUND ADAMS
On Saturday, June 3 at 4 PM, we will be playing at the Art Around Adams festival in San Diego—our first Southern California appearance since arriving home. It is our third consecutive year being invited to perform! This year we will be on a different stage—the Playground Stage located at Kensington Park, on the grounds of the Kensington-Normal Heights Library. It is a free, all ages event! Come meet us at the park and help us celebrate our return to sunny SoCal!
4121 Adams Avenue, San Diego, CA 92116

In addition to all of the above, we are planning some other releases and events that we will share in the near future! Thanks for your interest and support! See you at the shows!
