RODNEY ON THE ROQ
We were very excited to discover this week that legendary LA DJ Rodney Bingenheimer has added our version of The Beatles’ “Baby You’re A Rich Man” to the playlist for his show, Rodney On The ROQ! The SoundCloud link to our song was also featured on his website!
For those of you who don’t know, Rodney has been a staple of Los Angeles radio since 1976 and is noted as being the first to play many now-famous bands including Blondie, The Ramones, Oasis, and No Doubt on mainstream radio. He was instrumental in getting David Bowie a record deal and even played a role in introducing Graham Nash to Stephen Stills and David Crosby. Perhaps most interesting is his stint as Davy Jones’ double on The Monkees’ TV show! We are thrilled that he has chosen to play our song and hope to see it stay in his rotation.
